Final consultation - Before you begin, our specialists will review your treatment plan and answer any last-minute questions. Preparation - Your scalp will be cleansed and local anesthesia will be applied to ensure a painless procedure. Extraction phase - Healthy hair follicles are carefully extracted from the donor area. Implantation phase - The extracted follicles are carefully implanted into the recipient area following the natural hairline. Breaks and comfort - There will be short breaks during the procedure and our team will ensure your comfort at all times. Sleeping position: Sleep with your head elevated (at a 45 degree angle) for the first few nights to help reduce swelling. Avoid touching your scalp: Do not scratch, rub or pick at the transplanted area to prevent damage. Gentle shampooing: Follow your clinic’s instructions on how and when to wash your hair with a mild shampoo. No strenuous activities: Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting and activities that cause sweating for at least 10-14 days. Stay away from sun and heat: Protect your scalp from direct sunlight and excessive heat for the first few weeks. No alcohol and smoking: Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least a week, as they can slow the healing process.
